__ Emergency telephone numbers are adjacent/affixed to telephones.
__ Doors are kept closed, including the late night or weekend hours.
__ Fire Door Paths are kept clear and closers checked periodically.
__ Paths are kept clear and well lit to exits.
__ Locations of fire extinguishers are known, marked and access kept clear.
__ Information and instruction from firefighters, manufacturers and standards writers is sought.
__ Instructions, presentations and/or seminars are held periodically.
__ Work benches/stations are well lit, kept neat and clear of flammables.
__ Work benches/stations are not electrically overloaded.
__ Propane tanks are closed when not in use, i.e. fork lifts, grills.
__ Rubbish/trash are sorted, kept covered, periodically removed/transported.
