Natural and Propane, also called "LP", gases are fuels, have an odor, are common in both business or residence, generally present a danger when an undetected leak or malfunction exists that can present an explosive condition.

     Natural gas, primarily used within the urban areas is transferred by pipeline. Propane, generally found in the rural areas, is delivered and stored within varied tank containers.

     Propane may be also found in smaller uses with barbecue grills, small portable torches and camping appliances such as heaters.

     Natural and Propane gas detectors, relatively cost aware, have been present within the alarm industry for some time.

     Similar in operation to smoke detectors, however, are installed in different locations for respective gas detection.

     Natural and Propane gas detectors are available from similar sources of smoke detectors.
